Session 1: Discover great ideas

To find out what are considered a great idea

Activity 1: Charades game: act out a word (5mn)

  • 4 lines of ~7 people (4 PC for start, 4 EL for ends)

We explain what are great ideas first. (5mn)

  • Problems will create solutions
  • Listening, comparing others ideas with yours, what’s different
  • Analyze: examine more in details normal things, of what could be interesting below the surface.
  • Writing: short term and long term memory. Use tools to capture both.

Session 2

Homework: a few random picks of students to present their homework (5mn)?

  • Students familiarize with presenting
  • See their commitment to homework

Activity 2: What is an idea worth spreading

  • write down what they are passionate about, why?
  • students’ beliefs about the passion

Notes

  • Don’t forget to pick out students to sum up what you just talked about
    • For a refresh in memory
    • See if students understood or not
  • This Sunday should stay in the afternoon. Discuss with b Bill later whether switching to morning is a good idea.
    • Morning: 9:00AM - 11:00 AM or 8:00 - 10:00 AM?
  • Survey students about
    • preference of morning or afternoon
    • who are not in the Facebook group already
  • EL can privately tell each groups to share any problems with us, and be closer to students
    • Voluntarily offer help to students who seem to be struggling
